I used some more pictures from Passover at my sister-in-law’s house. I find it amusing that the chair that looked Dusty Durango on this scrapbook page coordinates perfectly with Ruby Red on today’s!

I was kind of surprised with the ColourQ colors this week. The weather has been great, and to be honest, I was hoping for something more bright and fun.

But as it turns out, this colors were perfect for the most amazing picture I took of my brother, sister-in-law and nephew at our Passover seder. This was in my other sister-in-law’s backyard and I took it with my brother’s phone! Can you believe that chair is Dusty Durango? I wanted a pretty clean layout, that would focus on the photo.

That awesome effect is made by layering and tilting one of the frames from the Candid Frames download in increments of 5 degrees. The picture is underneath only the top frame.

There is a My Digital Studio tab to the top right hand corner of this blog. It is a handy reference to a variety of My Digital Studio resources, including a list of all of the downloads and a break down of the printing costs. There is also a Resources page on MyDigitalStudio.net that includes an MDS Catalog. It shows all of the MDS software artwork (contained in the boxed-version) and downloads from the October 2009 launch through March 31, 2012! The catalog gives a snapshot of the entire product line with artwork thumbnails followed by product details, which includes the colors of the designer papers! Because MDS is regularly coming out with new artwork, the catalog will be updated every month.

What a nice bunch of pretty spring colors from ColourQ this week!

Eve and her friends have recently taken up sewing at recess a couple of times a week, thanks to their fabulous teacher who helped them get started with it. I knew these colors would be great to make a sweet page with a picture of the girls sewing. Their school uniforms are bright red and blue though, so I made the picture black and white. This way it wouldn’t clash with the pastels of the scrapbook page.

I used paper from the digital versions of the Peach Parfait Patterns, Spice Cake, Twitterpatted, and Play Date Designer Series Papers to create this. I love that the digital version is always available, even after the physical version retires!
