Yesterday I showed you the Baby Carriage cards that I made for the baby shower we had at work a couple weeks ago. Today I will show you the gifts. I used Lauren Meader’s fabulous onesie template and made them each a pack of Thank You notes. I packaged the cards in one of Stampin’ Up’s large cello bags, and made a topper for it out of a top-note die. Here is what the end results looked like:

Here is a close up of what the two cards look like. I stamped the envelopes to match as well.

Stamps: All in the Family, Family Phrases
Ink: Ballet Blue, Rose Red
Paper: Whisper White, Ballet Blue, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red
Other: 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Paper Snips, Top Note Bigz Die, Rich Regal Brads

How stinkin’ cute are they?

We recently had a baby shower for two of the women at work. One is expecting a girl, and the other a boy. I had seen these fabulous baby carriage cards on Lyssa’s blog (she has a tutorial, too), and decided that this would be a perfect time to make them! They were easier to make than I thought they would be. I am so happy with how adorable they came out! Here they are together, individual pictures are below.

Baby Boy Carriage:

Paper: Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Brushed Silver, Bashful Blue Patterns Designer Series Paper Pack
Other: Scallop Circle Bigz Die, Big Shot, Scallop Border Punch, 3/4″ circle punch, 1″ Circle Punch, Small Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Bashful Blue Brads, Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon

Baby Girl Carriage:

Come back tomorrow to see what I made for their baby shower gifts!

Welcome! It is time for another Stampin’ Addicts Blog Hop! This blog hop celebrates the fabulous freebies you can earn with every $50 in your subtotal during Sale-a-Bration. Each blog on the hop will be featuring  these items, many of which are only available until March 31st! If you are traveling forward in the blog hop, you just arrived from Holly’s Blog, where she showed you some beautiful projects made with Bella’s Bloom. If you are starting here, no worries. All of the posts link together to make a large circle.

I am excited to be showcasing the adorable D is for Dog  stamp set. In case you didn’t know, there is a big new change this year! In addition to the six Sale-a-Bration products, Stampin’ Up! will be letting you pick from a limited list (on the last page of the SAB brochure) of stamp sets from the big Idea Book and Catalog. How awesome is that?

The first card I have to show you today is a doggie Valentine. Whether it is from the dog or to the dog is up to you, but either way it is super cute! Here’s a handy tip I discovered — the full heart punch layers just perfectly on top of the new Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit!

Stamps: D is for Dog, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Very Vanilla, Sending Love Specialty Designer Series Paper
Other: Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit, Full Heart Punch, Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Pretty In Pink 5/8″ Satin Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals

I got the idea for this next project after seeing all of the bird houses that people have been making with the new Mini Milk Carton Die. If you can make a bird house, why not a DOG house? So I did!

Stamps: D is for Dog
Ink: So Saffron, Real Red, Basic Black, VersaMark
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White
Other: Mini Milk Carton Bigz L Die, Wide Oval Punch, White Embossing Powder, Paper Snips, Sticky Strip

My finally project is one that every dog owner dreads, but unfortunately it is a card that has to be made from time to time. I am glad that this sentiment is included in this set, even though I hope I never have to use it. This is inspired by a similar card made by Patti Chesky.

Stamps: D is for Dog
Ink: So Saffron, Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Whisper White, Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack
Other: Chocolate Chip 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon, 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, Sponge Daubers

Here’s a look at the entire six piece stamp set. Can you believe that you can get this for free? Wow!

Your next stop on the blog hop is Jean,  showing you projects created with one of my favorite single stamps, Elegant Thank You.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the projects made with the products that you can get free with a $50.00 purchase during Sale-A- Bration. Now you can see why it is every stampers’ favorite time of year!

Happy Anniversary to my sweetie! We were married 14 years ago today! Wow! Time sure flies, doesn’t it. This is the card that I made for Steve for our anniversary. (I liked it so much that I made a bunch of these as Leadership Swaps as well.)

Stamps: I {heart} Hearts, Together Forever
Ink: Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Other: Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder, Melon Mambo Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon

I really like these two colors together. I just might have to make some Valentine’s with these too!

My brother’s birthday was this past Sunday, so of course I had to make him a card! He has a group of friends that he plays poker with every week. I still had some of the Jackpot Designer Series Paper with the poker chips on it. I used that to make him a poker-themed birthday card.

Stamps: Starring You
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Jackpot Designer Series Paper
Other: Real Red 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, 1 3/4″ circle punch
, Stampin’ Dimensionals

I liked it so much that I decided to make him a set of them! I made a few more birthday ones that he can use for his poker buddies, and then several generic ones with just his initial on it.

Stamps: Varsity Alphabet
Ink: Real Red
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Jackpot Designer Series Paper
Other: Real Red 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, 1 3/4″ circle punch

I tried to make the stamped circle look kinda of poker chip-ish. What do you think?

I was so lucky to have had three amazing roommates at the Leadership Convention! They were all three from Wisconsin, and though we had been “friends” online for quite a while, I had never met them in person. It didn’t matter. By the end of our first afternoon together, we might as well have been friends since childhood! In keeping up with Stampin’ Up tradition, each of them made gifts for me as well.

Lyssa made a fabulous monogram luggage tag, which I immeadiately put on my awesome Leadership bag. It has the Statement of the Heart on the back. She also made a gorgeous card with yummy chocolate in it, but I don’t have a picture of it right now.

Staci made this great mini scrapbook. I haven’t put pictures in it yet, but it will be a fabulous memento of Leadership!

Shelley filled this super cute Fancy Favor bag with chocolate, and also made this adorable pin with the Build-a-Bear stamp set.

Barbara was not one of our roommates, but since she lives in Phoenix she went out of her way to make welcome gifts for each of us!

Thank you to everyone for their wonderful gifts!

One of the traditions when attending a Stampin’ Up even is to create gifts for your roommates. I didn’t want to fall short on the gifts I was making for my roommates, but I also didn’t have a lot of time to make something. So I decide to alter some items. I roomed with three fabulous women from Wisconsin, and I made each of them two gifts.

The first thing I made them was an album to keep their swaps in. I bought a pre-made album, took out the cardboard insert of a cover, and replaced it with my own creation. Here’s what they ended up looking like: (Sorry for the glare. It’s the flash off of the cover.)

And a close up:

Stamps: Lovely Letters
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Taken with Teal, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Sweat Pea Designer Series Paper Pad
Other: Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon, Sweat Pea Stitched Felt, 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch

The second gift I made was an altered 2010-2011 pocket calendar. I just recovered it. I made each of these three a little different, and let them choose which one they wanted.

Stamps: Calendar Alphabet and Numbers
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Whisper White, Orchid Opulence, Rich Razzleberry, Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper
Other: Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Small Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch

Come back tomorrow, and I will show you the fabulous gifts that they made me!

I don’t know if you happened to notice the Love Bots Valentines in the new mini catalog. They look a little something like this. (Not the paper on top, just look at the bottom half of the picture.)

Well, one of the amazing demonstrators at Leadership, the fabulous Patty Bennett, came up with a variety of ways to use this fabulous kit! I have some pictures of the display boards. (You can click on the pictures for a much larger view.)

How brilliant is she? Amazing!
